Lessons

    Jory Hill Stables has served the Salem area continuously since 1971. After thirty eight years in business at the same close-in location in South Salem, we have learned a thing or two about teaching people, especially kids, how to enjoy the excitement of horseback riding. We start and end with safety.

    If you have ever witnessed the bond between a child and their horse you will understand why we love what we do. Our school horses, Breezy, Kara, Sasha, Chad, and Kayla have started hundreds of kids on a lifetime adventure in equestrian sports.

    We have had the pleasure of working with and watching these kids grow into adults and bring their children to us.

    Some of our students have continued with us all the way to national championships. Many have competed for years at the local or regional level. Whatever your goals we can help you achieve them.

    The weight limit for school horse lessons is 150 lbs. Trailer in lessons are also available.
